IT Project is a two-part course (IT Project 1 and IT Project 2) that runs for the whole academic year.It starts during the first semester and must be completed in the second semester.IT Project 1 and IT Project 2 are the final integration and application of all the knowledge and skills the students learned since their first year. Hence, as a final degree requirement, the student cannot graduate the BSIT Degree without satisfactorily completed this course. This course comprises the formulation of problems and opportunities, the design and creation a proposal to address the identified problem, the presentation of the proposal before a group of panelists and audience, the working of the research or project, and finally the presentation and demonstration of the final output of research or project.
This course provides an introduction to Systems Analysis and Design. Topics include analyzing the business case, requirements modeling, enterprise modeling, and development strategies.Students also learn about data design, the user interface, input, and output design, system architecture, systems implementation and systems operations and support.
